Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the Freelancer Helper browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Service Description
Freelancer Helper is a browser extension designed to assist freelancers in creating professional proposals on the freelancer.com platform. The service includes:
- AI-powered proposal generation tools
- Best-effort identification of the employer who posted a project ("employer resolution")
- Ability to filter job listings by various criteria
- Quality of life improvements for freelancers
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will meet all your specific requirements.
Employer Resolution
The employer resolution feature attempts to identify the employer (project owner) associated with a project listing on freelancer.com, and to display that employer's identifier and username within the extension.
Employer resolution is provided strictly on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that any given project can be resolved, that a result will be returned within any particular time, or that a result, once returned, is accurate, current, or complete. For many projects no employer information will be available at all, and results may change or become unavailable at any time without notice.
Employer information is derived from publicly available and third-party sources, and may be cached and reused to serve later requests. Because those sources are outside our control, they may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect, and we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding them.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make on the basis of employer information shown by the extension, including any decision to bid or not to bid on a project, and you agree to independently verify any information that matters to that decision. We accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on employer resolution results, from their inaccuracy, or from their unavailability.
Employer resolution is subject to daily usage quotas that depend on your plan and on whether you are signed in. Quotas are counted per distinct project per day; looking up a project you have already resolved on the same day does not consume additional quota, and checks that fail do not consume quota. We may change these quotas, rate-limit requests, or suspend, limit, or discontinue the feature entirely at any time, including for users on paid plans, without liability to you.
You must not use employer resolution to harass, contact off-platform, profile, or otherwise misuse information about any employer, or in any way that violates freelancer.com's own terms of service or applicable data protection law.
User Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations or restrictions is prohibited.
Payment and Subscriptions
Freelancer Helper offers both free and paid features. Paid access is sold as a recurring subscription with tiered plans, each of which sets your daily quotas for bid generation and employer resolution. Free use of both features is available up to the quotas that apply to your plan; continuing beyond those quotas requires a paid subscription. Subscription payments are processed through Paddle, and legacy one-time purchases were processed through PayPal. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.
We offer a Free Trial for the Filters feature and a free daily quota for the bid generation feature. The Free Trial allows you to use the Filters feature for a limited time without charge. After the trial period, you will need to purchase a subscription to continue using the feature.
Because of the above, we do not offer refunds for the Filters feature or for any subscription plan, as you have had the opportunity to evaluate the service before making a purchase.
We reserve the right to change the prices of our services. The change in pricing will not affect the purchases made before the change.
